These are the top 5 tech stocks to own in 2025: Evercore

Investing.com — Evercore ISI has highlighted five technology stocks they believe are poised for strong performance into 2025: Apple (NASDAQ:AAPL), Arista Networks (NYSE:ANET), Amphenol (NYSE:APH), IBM (NYSE:IBM), and Vertiv (VRT).

The firm’s analysts presented a “bull case” for each stock, underscoring each company’s unique position within the evolving tech landscape.

Arista Networks (ANET) leads the list with its focus on AI-driven network solutions. According to Evercore, Arista’s “conservative guide” for 2025, set at 15-17% revenue growth, “leaves room for upside” as demand for AI ethernet switching and campus growth accelerates.

The firm anticipates that Arista will benefit from increased customer adoption and the ongoing shift toward cloud networks, driving revenue growth beyond 20% in 2025.

Apple (AAPL) is said to stand out due to its AI capabilities, which Evercore believes will enhance iPhone sales over a longer cycle, even if an immediate super cycle isn’t expected.

Apple is poised “to monetize third-party AI efforts” without the substantial capital expenditures other mega-cap peers face, making it a strong long-term investment, said Evercore. Additionally, steady growth in Apple’s Services and Wearables segments should further support the stock’s upward trajectory.

For Amphenol (APH), Evercore points to its “diversified end segments” and strong merger and acquisition strategy as critical drivers for sustained growth.

APH’s exposure to industrials, mobile networks, and military segments is expected to support 10%+ EPS growth through 2025, along with contributions from recent acquisitions like CIT and Andrews.

IBM is highlighted for its “enterprise AI tailwinds,” with a $3 billion AI consulting business and software momentum from offerings like WatsonX and Red Hat. Evercore anticipates the launch of IBM’s z17 mainframe and potential M&A activity to further boost revenue growth.

Finally, Vertiv (VRT) is seen as benefitting from rising demand for AI infrastructure. Evercore anticipates margin expansion and revenue growth beyond the current 8-11% target, supported by an increase in AI data center demand and power management solutions.
