Investing.com – Taiwan stocks were lower after the close on Friday, as losses in the , and sectors led shares lower.

The best performers of the session on the were Arima Communications Corp (TW:), which rose 350.24% or 7.39 points to trade at 9.50 at the close. Meanwhile, Taisol Electronics Co Ltd (TW:) added 9.94% or 6.30 points to end at 69.70 and Hold-Key Electric Wire & Cable Co Ltd (TW:) was up 9.92% or 4.45 points to 49.30 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Edom Technology Co Ltd (TW:), which fell 9.92% or 3.60 points to trade at 32.70 at the close. Lead Data Inc (TW:) declined 9.85% or 0.39 points to end at 3.57 and Logah Technology Corp (TW:) was down 9.16% or 1.20 points to 11.90.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Taiwan Stock Exchange by 0 to 0.

Crude oil for December delivery was down 1.06% or 0.73 to $67.97 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in January fell 1.07% or 0.78 to hit $71.78 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.30% or 7.60 to trade at $2,565.30 a troy ounce.
USD/TWD was down 0.23% to 32.53, while TWD/CNY unchanged 0.27% to 0.22.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.13% at 106.74.
