The worst performers of the session were Lead Data Inc (TW:), which fell 9.85% or 0.39 points to trade at 3.57 at the close. Creative Sensor Inc (TW:) declined 8.24% or 5.70 points to end at 63.50 and Golden Bridge Electech Inc (TW:) was down 8.09% or 2.05 points to 23.30.

Crude oil for December delivery was up 0.69% or 0.47 to $69.08 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in January rose 0.67% or 0.48 to hit $72.64 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.18% or 5.10 to trade at $2,795.70 a troy ounce.
USD/TWD was up 0.02% to 31.96, while TWD/CNY unchanged 0.04% to 0.22.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.13% at 104.00.
