SpaceX in discussions over share sale at $350 bln valuation- Bloomberg

Investing.com– SpaceX is in discussions to sell insider shares at a valuation of roughly $350 billion, Bloomberg reported on Monday, a significant premium from valuations estimated in the prior month.

Bloomberg and other media reports had valued SpaceX at about $255 billion in November.

The company is one of the most valuable privately-held firms in the world, and is also by far the most active space firm in terms of rocket launches.

SpaceX is expected to clinch more lucrative government contracts as founder Elon Musk wields growing influence in Washington under a Donald Trump presidency.

The firm works closely with NASA and the U.S. Armed Forces.
