Saudi Arabia stocks higher at close of trade; Tadawul All Share up 0.86%

Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were higher after the close on Sunday, as gains in the Energy & Utilities, Industrial Investment and Agriculture & Food sectors led shares higher.

At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share added 0.86%.

The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Gulf Insurance Group (TADAWUL:8250), which rose 8.35% or 2.45 points to trade at 31.80 at the close. Meanwhile, Saudi Arabian Cooperative Insurance (TADAWUL:8100) added 4.61% or 0.68 points to end at 15.44 and Lazurde for Jewelry Co (TADAWUL:4011) was up 4.26% or 0.56 points to 13.70 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Etihad Etisalat Co (TADAWUL:7020), which fell 3.08% or 1.70 points to trade at 53.50 at the close. Northern Region Cement Co (TADAWUL:3004) declined 1.86% or 0.17 points to end at 8.98 and Anaam International Holding Group (TADAWUL:4061) was down 1.61% or 0.02 points to 1.22.

Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 191 to 112 and 26 ended unchanged.

Crude oil for January delivery was down 1.05% or 0.72 to $68.00 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in February rose 0.22% or 0.16 to hit $72.94 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract rose 0.61% or 16.20 to trade at $2,681.00 a troy ounce.

EUR/SAR was up 0.25% to 3.97, while USD/SAR unchanged 0.00% to 3.76.

The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.21% at 105.83.
