Saudi Arabia stocks higher at close of trade; Tadawul All Share up 0.35%

Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were higher after the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Insurance, Industrial Investment and Media & Publishing sectors led shares higher.

At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share rose 0.35%.

The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were CHUBB Arabia Cooperative Insurance (TADAWUL:8240), which rose 8.17% or 3.40 points to trade at 45.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Saudi Public Transport Co. (TADAWUL:4040) added 6.06% or 1.32 points to end at 23.12 and Fawaz Abdulaziz AlHokair Company (TADAWUL:4240) was up 5.74% or 0.74 points to 13.64 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Al Baha Investment and Development Company SJSC (TADAWUL:4130), which fell 8.57% or 0.03 points to trade at 0.32 at the close. Almajed 4 Oud Company SJSC (TADAWUL:4165) declined 2.63% or 4.40 points to end at 162.80 and The National Co for Glass Industrie (TADAWUL:2150) was down 2.62% or 1.40 points to 52.00.

Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 184 to 110 and 18 ended unchanged.

Shares in Saudi Public Transport Co. (TADAWUL:4040) rose to 52-week highs; up 6.06% or 1.32 to 23.12.

Crude oil for November delivery was down 4.25% or 3.14 to $70.69 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in December fell 3.96% or 3.07 to hit $74.39 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.11% or 3.05 to trade at $2,668.65 a troy ounce.

EUR/SAR was unchanged 0.04% to 4.09, while USD/SAR unchanged 0.02% to 3.75.

The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.15% at 102.93.
