Investing.com – Greece stocks were lower after the close on Monday, as losses in the , and sectors led shares lower.

The best performers of the session on the were Ellaktor SA (AT:), which rose 2.47% or 0.05 points to trade at 1.91 at the close. Meanwhile, HELLENiQ ENERGY Holdings SA (AT:) added 2.37% or 0.17 points to end at 7.35 and Holding Company ADMIE IPTO SA (AT:) was up 1.82% or 0.05 points to 2.52 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Thessaloniki Port Authority SA (AT:), which fell 2.26% or 0.50 points to trade at 21.60 at the close. Elinoil Hellenic Petroleum Company SA (AT:) declined 1.94% or 0.04 points to end at 2.02 and Petros Petropoulos SA (AT:) was down 1.89% or 0.16 points to 8.30.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Athens Stock Exchange by 61 to 57 and 20 ended unchanged.
Shares in Holding Company ADMIE IPTO SA (AT:) rose to 52-week highs; gaining 1.82% or 0.05 to 2.52.
Gold Futures for February delivery was down 0.08% or 2.19 to $2,673.61 a troy ounce. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in January fell 1.15% or 0.82 to hit $70.47 a barrel, while the February Brent oil contract fell 0.50% or 0.37 to trade at $74.12 a barrel.
EUR/USD was unchanged 0.07% to 1.05, while EUR/GBP unchanged 0.49% to 0.83.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.12% at 106.56.
