Colombia stocks higher at close of trade; COLCAP up 1.21%

Investing.com – Colombia stocks were higher after the close on Monday, as gains in the Industrials, Services and Agriculture sectors led shares higher.

At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP gained 1.21%.

The best performers of the session on the COLCAP were Organizacion Terpel SA (BVC:TPL), which rose 3.72% or 380.00 points to trade at 10,600.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Mineros SA (BVC:MAS) added 2.53% or 95.00 points to end at 3,845.00 and Grupo Bolivar SA (BVC:SCA) was up 2.20% or 1,280.00 points to 59,480.00 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Grupo de Inversiones Suramericana SA (BVC:SIS), which fell 2.87% or 1,020.00 points to trade at 34,500.00 at the close. Cementos Argos Pf (BVC:CCB_p) declined 2.87% or 210.00 points to end at 7,110.00 and Celsia SA (BVC:CEL) was down 1.11% or 40.00 points to 3,565.00.

Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Colombia Stock Exchange by 0 to 0.

Shares in Organizacion Terpel SA (BVC:TPL) rose to 52-week highs; gaining 3.72% or 380.00 to 10,600.00. Shares in Mineros SA (BVC:MAS) rose to 52-week highs; gaining 2.53% or 95.00 to 3,845.00.

US coffee C for March delivery was up 0.16% or 0.45 to $283.75 . Elsewhere in commodities trading, US cocoa for delivery in March fell 2.48% or 211.00 to hit $8,293.00 , while the December Gold Futures contract rose 1.75% or 45.00 to trade at $2,615.10 a troy ounce.

USD/COP was down 2.27% to 4,397.00, while BRL/COP fell 0.12% to 765.01.

The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.44% at 106.14.
