Colombia stocks higher at close of trade; COLCAP up 0.37%

Investing.com – Colombia stocks were higher after the close on Monday, as gains in the Industrials, Services and Agriculture sectors led shares higher.

At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP rose 0.37%.

The best performers of the session on the COLCAP were Cementos Argos Pf (BVC:CCB_p), which rose 6.00% or 420.00 points to trade at 7,420.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Cementos Argos SA (BVC:CCB) added 3.02% or 240.00 points to end at 8,200.00 and Grupo de Inversiones Suramericana SA (BVC:SIS) was up 0.78% or 260.00 points to 33,480.00 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Canacol Energy Ltd (BVC:CNE), which fell 4.04% or 400.00 points to trade at 9,500.00 at the close. Grupo Argos SA Pref (BVC:ARG_p) declined 2.11% or 260.00 points to end at 12,040.00 and Banco Davivienda Pf (BVC:DVI_p) was down 1.58% or 300.00 points to 18,660.00.

Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Colombia Stock Exchange by 0 to 0.

Shares in Canacol Energy Ltd (BVC:CNE) fell to all time lows; losing 4.04% or 400.00 to 9,500.00.

US coffee C for December delivery was up 1.77% or 4.40 to $252.80 . Elsewhere in commodities trading, US cocoa for delivery in December rose 2.01% or 136.00 to hit $6,906.00 , while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.01% or 0.20 to trade at $2,754.80 a troy ounce.

USD/COP was down 0.06% to 4,353.50, while BRL/COP rose 0.59% to 762.41.

The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.05% at 104.18.
